Install WDLXTV on WD Live TV Media Player

Download WDLXTV flash version (system will be installed on the WD)
Uncompress and Copy wdlxtv flash version on a FAT32 formatted USB Thumb drive

wdtvlive.ver
wdtvlive.bin
wdtvlive.fff (if provided)

wdtvlive2.bi2 (if provided)

Edit wdtvlive.ver must be higher version than current installed firmware
Plug the USB thumb drive, Goto Settings and Upgrade firmware
WD TV will reboot and install the custom firmware
Check network settings
