Calibrate MacBook Battery

1. Plug MagSafe Power Adapter until fully charge (Battery icon = Charged and the charger’s connector light turns green).
2. Keep the laptop plugged in for another two hours.
3. Disconnect your laptop from power. Use it until it falls asleep from low battery.
4. Turn off the laptop and do not use it for about five hours.
5. Plug your laptop back in and let it fully charge.

Kill or Force Quit a Mac OS X Application

1) Insert Battery and Plug-in Power
2) wait for the Charging Light on,
3) while power is still plugged in, pull the battery
4) and then re-insert the battery back

To continue using the phone while power is broken, just install a sensor app e.g. Smart Screen ON, for turning off/on screen by waving hand.
